I am SO excited. I've been chomping at the bit to go on a mini-road trip 'round the prarie hitting up some of the ghost-towns and trying to find those lone, falling-to-pieces abodes in the middle of nowhere to get pictures of. I'm sure it's been done, but I want photos for MY archives and just so I have stuff to work with. The mood of these places and the sense of history has ALWAYS appealed to me.
The weather has been amazing for November and Dan took me out today and I was able to get a few shots. I'm in a state of glee. We stayed *fairly* close to home, but I got some (I think) great material, and I'm hoping to do an entire series of these images. Autumn light/Evening light to boot! Wow. What a great day.
I hope we can get at least one more session in before the snow flies!
